A new player in the suspension industry: Giant starts new range of suspension
The big bicycle manufacturer Giant has announced that they are starting to manufacture their own forks, for now they will produce “only” stuff for XC and Trial. “Crest” models, according to the manufacturer, are going to have a comparable performance to other forks on the market.
Giant is not the first bicycle manufacturer to try to enter the market with its own suspension offer. In the past, many big manufacturers, such as Trek, Specialized or Scott, have tried to develop and sell their bicycle suspension. As we know from autopsy, they failed to achieve the success they would expect. Whether Giant will succeed with their new forks, and maybe soon you will be able to buy a fork for downhill bike with the Giant logo, time will tell.
